LETU Mongolia's American university program, which has a 12-year history of teaching entirely in English, has partnered with San University, a leader in Mongolian business education with a 28-year history, to expand as San American University of Mongolia.
The LETU Mongolia program teaches all subjects entirely in English with American doctoral scholars and visiting professors, following curricula from leading universities around the world. After studying in Mongolia for 1.5 years, students can transfer to LeTourneau University in the United States with a 100% scholarship and graduate with a joint American and Mongolian diploma. Over its 12-year history, the LETU Mongolia program has prepared hundreds of leading graduates for the Mongolian and international labor markets, with particular strength in data science.
San University has received international accreditation from ACBSP twice, covering a period of 20 years. It provides a leadership program, analyzes student learning outcomes, and prioritizes continuous improvement, with teaching delivered by a team of scholars who have developed their expertise through the international Fulbright program.
It is a leading private university in Mongolia, introducing cloud systems into teaching, working with Peregrine Academic Services, and continually updating its programs.

An entrance examination for students finishing Grade 12 and all other students wishing to study at San American University of Mongolia (AUM) will take place at 11:00 a.m. on April 26, 2025.
Students who place in the competition will receive the following opportunities:
- Top 10: eligibility for a 100% scholarship to study in America and a 50% tuition scholarship to study in Mongolia.
- Places 11–30: eligibility to study in America and an MNT 5 million tuition scholarship to study in Mongolia.
- All students who pass the entrance examination will be eligible for direct admission to AUM and an MNT 3 million tuition scholarship to study in Mongolia.
When taking the examination:
- The examination fee is MNT 10,000.
- Bring one passport-style photograph.
- Bring a copy of your national identity card and arrive by 10:30 a.m.
- The examination starts at 11:00 a.m.; late arrivals will not be admitted.
The examination has three sections:
- English
- Mathematics
- Essay
