SIT Students Attend AUM Lecture, Meet Students at AUM
On March 11, AUM faculty member Nicole Schaefer-McDaniel, Ph.D., presented a lecture on ‘Writing Research Proposals’ to undergraduate students in the SIT World Learning Program in Mongolia. This program brings third and fourth year undergraduate students from liberal arts universities in the US to Mongolia to undertake a program of study, for credit, on a topic of their choosing, culminating in a research presentation. Dr. Schaefer-McDaniel also served as a research supervisor for two of the students. Following the lecture, SIT students engaged with AUM’s Academic Bridge Program students, to the mutual benefit of both groups.
