Director

John Mark King is the director of AUM’s English Language Institute. He earned an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from The American University in Washington DC in 2003 and and has taught extensively in a variety of countries around the world. He has trained teachers and developed curricula in The United States, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh and Russia. He has also worked in several US Department of State programs, including the English Language Specialist, E-Teacher and English Language Fellow programs. In 2001, he taught English as a Peace Corps volunteer in Uzbekistan. He has been with the American University of Mongolia since 2012.
