Founded in 2012, The American University of Mongolia English Language Institute (ELI) provides several major services to the people of Mongolia.
Courses in General English, English for Business Communication and Academic English are available through a variety of programs either open to the general public or designed for registered students. The ELI also offers tailor-made English programs for private organizations whose employees have specific language needs.
ELI instructors are trained professionals for whom TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is their career and have either a TESOL certificate or a master’s degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics.
All ELI courses are practical, engaging and enjoyable and emphasize language development via critical thinking, creativity and learner autonomy.
