In December, Robin Charpentier, AUM Director of Academic Programs, visited several institutions and organizations to strengthen our academic partnerships in the U.S. In addition to meeting with our current Indiana University colleagues from the Kelley School of Business, she met with faculty and administrators from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs; Office of the Provost; School of Global and International Studies; and Office of the Vice President for International Affairs.
In Washington, follow up meetings were held with directors of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, the Washington Campus, Fulbright Office (East Asian and Pacific Region), University of Maryland Smith School of Business, the Mongolia Desk Officer (China/Mongolia) at the U.S. State Department, USAID’s American Schools and Hospitals Abroad, and AUM’s consultants from the Council for American Universities Abroad. In Philadelphia, meetings were held with the Dean of Drexel’s College of Arts and Sciences. Finally, in Vermont, she met with the Dean for International Relations and the Chair of the Classics Department at the University of Vermont.
